It gets better after the first 120 miles or so... I had a hard time getting it into 1st and reverse the first 40 miles ,and that's a lot better now. You can definitely tell it's not a stock clutch.

I'm over 200 miles now, and it's starting to feel smooth and silky again. Problem with getting in reverse is gone. I accidently chirped the wheels pulling out last night... what a tease. I can't wait to get through another few hundred miles so I can really beat on it again. My clutch was slipping before I put 4.10's in, and then installed the clutch as soon as the 4.10's were broken in, so this'll be the first time I've had a good clutch and 4.10's at the same time. I'm itchin' to do some bow-ties and fog up the street good. Man, the patches in front of my house are fading...

I love my Ram HD. I had the Spec stage 3I (iron disk) and it lasted me 5k street miles on radials and no racing. Spec didnt stand behind anything. I even broke it in for the first 1k. Held like hell for the rest of its short life though.

I hear some people saying that chatter is something that you are just going to have to accept. Every one here buy that?

No new zo6 owner would agree with that statement.

The only thing keeping me from going that route is that I worry about how easily (or even if) the zo6 is gunna glaze? It is organic right? But with a huge face?

I'm going to have to slip the **** out it, to not tear up my weak as nissan rear.

any thoughts?

You should only get chatter bad chatter with Iron Disks, I think, like SPEC 5. I've read here that a few other heavy duty clutches chatter until broken in. My McLeod never chattered...
