Default differences in lt1 t56 and ls1 t56???

im in need of a T56 for my 01 Z and i was wondering if there were any differences between the two (93-97/98-02)? i am aware of the diffent clutch set up but all i need is the actual transmission part no bellhousing or anything else just the transmission.

I think the transmission part are the same, but not 100% positive. I do know that the gear ratios from 94-2002 are the same, but 93's were geared different in all gears but 4th and did not have cags.

I was told that the bellhousing the adapter plate and the input shaft are different because I have one from a 94 camaro that i am gonna use for my swap. What I am not certain of is I read the procedure on replaceing it and from the looks of it the whole trans has to come apart but would be nice if I was able to take off the adapter plate and change the input shaft and install the new adapter plate but im not sure if thats possible.

Input shaft, bell housing, hydraulic set up, front cover, gear ratios depending on year, and some other small things I know I cant remember.
