Default notchy shifting?

Do any of you with the spec stg 3 or 3+ notice the clutch dragging making the shifting very notchy untill the clutch is broken in?

My clutch is dragging with the spec 3 + and my car drives fine under normal driving but when you drive agressive, it tends to be very notchy. I called spec and Matt told me to just give it some miles to break in and then let him know if it is still like that. SO far it does seem to be getting better and now has 170 miles on it but he said it may take up to 500 miles due to tight tolerences from being new.

What are you guys experiences with this?

I have no problem driving it easy on the shift for the next 300 miles but i dont want to wait to damn long if I have to pull it out.

I experienced the same thing with my 3+. Works fine now. The notchiness will gradually decrease with time until you don't notice it. Can't remember exactly how long it took.

If it is dragging and you are eating life out of your blocker rings with every notchy shift. Seems sad that a clutch supplier would allow his poor functioning part to cause a customer further repairs.Unfortunately this seems to be far too common with spec products. I suggest you get full release of the clutch or not drive the car.

Its not hurting the blocker rings because I am not shifting it fast untill it gets broke in good and feels better. SPec assured me it will get better or they will once again take care of it. I have been on a boat and just got off today. I will put some more miles on it then some hard launches to see if that helps make it shift better after some digging into the flywheel.

If it is dragging it is hurting the blocker rings. Lighter load shifts just hurt them less. Will spec replace these for you?
