i had a spec stage 3 in my old SS and loved it, it held up great and had the same pedal feel as a stock clutch.

i just ordered an ls7 clutch for my formula and am having it installed at the moment so no reviews yet but its basically a oem clutch anyways so i dont expect any problems

There's something wrong with your clutch if it's doing that. Sounds like hydraulics issues to me.

I've got a RAM Powergrip HD and it grabs HARD and doesn't let go.

Before that I had a Spec II which just glazed itself over after 11K. Plenty of friction material left, just glazed over on 330rwtq...

Lots of sponsors sell the LS7 clutch. I bought mine from SDparts.com. In my experience it took nearly 2 weeks and the order was missing a part. But with a phone call they cleared it up.

Just ordered ls7 clutch and flywheel from sdparts.com I've got worse problems with the transmission than changing a clutch but getting it all fixed the first time rather than repairing the trans six times.

I got the LS7 kit installed with new master and updated slave. Worked awesome for the first 12,000 miles but now I'm having disengagment problems after any two consecutive gear WOT. I have DOT4 fluid and regularly change the fluid. At first I thought this was a hydraulic issue, but now I'm learning that many people that have the LS7 clutch are describing the exact same issues I'm having after about 10k miles. They're saying it's an issue with the pressure plate at high RPMs. I've read several threads on this at Z06vette forum and corvette forum. Anybody else experience or hear of this yet?

You didn't include the Monster brand... I know we're new, but, we've got a ton of customers in this community alone.

I think its because this thread was started in 2005.
It might be time to start a new thread with all the new clutches that have come out since then.

Good point, guess I should have paid attention to that...
