Default Clutch won't engage

I have been searching trying to find out what is wrong with my clutch but no luck. I did a motor-tranny swap. The clutch was working fine and later that day I went out to drive it but it wouldn't go into gear. I've tried to bleed the clutch both gravity and Mityvac. The clutch is decently stiff. But while the car is on, it will not let me put it in a gear. When the car is off I can shift beautifully. What could be the problem? Why would it stop going into gear so suddenly? I think that there is still air in the slave from when I did the swap. There was also a lot of noise coming from the tranny. I can't really descibe it. Let me know what you guys think.

Put the e-brake on ,put it in 1st gear and try to start the car.If it jumps -pull the clutch and inspect.

I had the same problem when my car was in the body shop after my accident. The pressure plate was shot. Start there.

Well it was the pilot bearing. It was shot. But my car is working great. And the car was jumping if I started it in gear with the clutch in. Thanks for the help guys. Later.
