Default Tranny Problems T56

I need some help big time. My 98 Camaro SS T56. First off in the morning when I first start the car and drive for about 10-15 min the gears are real hard to go into. No forcing but harder then they sound be. Reverse takes an extra push to get it in. Sometimes makes a quick grind nosie. The real problem is sometimes. When shifting into 5th it grides. Also downshifting in 2nd gear takes more then 1 time to get it in. It locks me out downshifting only. The Last problem is when giving it like 60% and up. All gears are very hard to get into. Require extra push. Please some help!!! Is it time for rebuild????

sounds like rebuild time, give t56-rebuilds a PM as he is a sponsor on here, they do very good work and are very reasonable.

Do yourself a favor and be sure you clutch is fully releasing first.

Good point, imagine getting a complete rebuild only to later find out that it was just the clutch

Definately sounds like a clutch hydraulic issue since it goes away warm.
