Default Best clutch!!!

Hey guys.. what clutch combo would you go with if you have a 382Big Bore LS6 heads, 3.42 gear, stock rearend and never plan to go to the track.. just highway bombs... Just curious... yes I am becoming a 6-speed <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" /> .... I cant wait.. <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" />

Hey Tony, How much is the tuition fee for the School of Nineball racing? : ) YA RIGHT!!!

OK. Guys.. what about a Mcleod Dual Disk... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Becuase that is what is in there now... AND IT IS BRUTAL!! but I love it... Lets put it this way, I won't be going in for a new clutch anytime soon...

I went with the McLeod dual disc as well. I just plan on some wheels up launches hopefully. I think for a freeway car that you should have just gone with the Ram. More rotational clutch mass may be costing you some RWHP. But I will admit that the McLeod is a very stout piece

I got two friends of mine that dump the clucth at 5500-6000 on thier single disk McLoed, and it isn't slipping yet. Many runs too. I just can't justify the money. I got a good deal on a stage 3 Carbon Star, otherwise I would have go the RAM myself

Ditto on Mcleod products. I have been using their clutches since day 1 and have had excellent results with it.
