Default Drill Mod huge improvement with slippage!!!

I thought for sure that when I speed shifted between gears that the clutch was slipping badly and it was time for a new one. I heard about the "drill mod" and did that tonight. I took my time and it took about 2hrs. After finishing I drove the car and the clutch pedal is a completely different feeling. There is no more restriction in the hydraulic line and it is very smooth. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this mod for anyone having clutch slippage on a stock LS1 clutch!!!

Thanks for that report.

I'm getting my tranny rebuilt soon and thought about doing this as well, you just confirmed it for me.

Would it have the same effect on a LS6 clutch?

^^^do it and report back.
Allowing more fluid to pass through could not hurt it.
