Do some Z28s come with hurst shifters? Mine has the H on the shift **** but i didnt know if it was actually the hurst shifter or if the previous owner had just bought the ****. I thought only ss's and ws6's had the hurst shifter?

Any of them could be ordered with the factory hurst shifter for another $300+ bucks. Didn't have anything to do with being an SS or WS6.

I have a WS6 without the "BBS" RPO Code, dont think I have a hurst either.

the factory hurst seems to work well with a umi handle on it. the factory rubber bushed handle is a stick in molasses

BBS is just the hurst ****, Y4F is the code for the hurst shifter.
Come to find out mine has the BBS code but not the Y4F...

that must not be true for all cars because my cars window sticker says i have a hurst short throw shifter and my car only has the BBS code, but that might go along with the fact that i have slp floor mats, wheels and no slp stickers
