Default shifter for birthday...help me decide...please...

ok so i'm getting a birthday present from mom and dad...and i want a shifter. something that isn't too expensive but will help when driving daily so i can use it a lot...lol. they all are around the same value so don't make price a factor to the decision.

here are the choices:

1. B&M Ripper

2. Pro 5.0

3. Hurst Billet+

when you vote if you could post up and say why you like it or you don't and if you've had any experience with others it would be very helpful.

i appreciate all the involvement.

thank you in advance...

I've got a B&M and like it alot, shifts are short and smooth, not had any experience with the PRO 5.0 or the Hurst though.

B&M Ripper, solid feel, very confident smooth shifting great for a daily driver or your weekend warrior. Very short shifts as well, adjustable stops

WHy did you take the b&m out for the pro 5.0, just curious because i did the exact opposite due to the notchy feel with the pro 5.0.

If your deadset on getting a new shifter assembly then I recommend the PRO 5.0, but if you have the stock Hurst then I think you'd find yourself more than happy by installing the UMI shortstick. Even if you get the PRO 5.0, you'll want this stick to, cause the one it comes with is LONG!
