Default clutch not holding up?

When I'm at a light, sometimes my car will start inching forward while I have it in 1st and the clutch pushed down all the way. When I try pulling it out of 1st it's a little tight. I was thinking I need to either adjust the clutch or check the master/slave cyclinder. Any ideas? Also, about a year ago a helical torsion spring broke as I was pushing my clutch. It looks like this:

Any suggestions, links, threads would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The master is bleeding down likely. You should really hold/ride the clutch at a light like that anyway. Definately more wear & tear on all componets involved. Specially the hydraulics, particularly the slave/ throw out bearing.
Hows the hydraulics feel normal ? Original parts still? Fluid black in the reservoir?

All parts are original. The fluid isn't black. Hyrdaulics work fine normally, unless I hold it at a light. I do hear rattling sometimes at a light with the clutch out in neutral and when I press the clutch the light sounding rattling goes away.

This is probably a dumb question but could my tranny mounts be bad? When I shift, and let the clutch out, the car jerks. The clutch isn't slipping. I threw it in 6th at 70 and floored it and rpms wouldnt climb abnormally with speed

The noise is the throw out bearing. It is worn, & noisy, under a load (clutch depressed) it goes away. Have also seen the occational pilot bearing torn up causing noise also. It is a remove inspect for sure.
The master is likely pissing pressure off, that is why it does this.
Lots of miles?, what year car?
You likley just have hydraulic issues they are common. Lots of threads here about it.....

You may just need to bleed it.. try that first. Air in the system can cause all kinds of nightmares. If not then I would just go with new/updated hydrolics.

whats the best way to pinpoint what the problem is without replacing parts that may not even be bad? I am going to bleed the lines and see if that takes care of it. If not I am not sure what to do from there.. The fluid is dark green. I'm pretty sure its still good and the reservoir is full almost to the top.

I had a spring from the spring basket of the clutch disk break free and lodge itself down in the pressure plate so when I pushed in the clutch it wouldn't disengage. So, when sitting at a stop sign with the clutch down to the floor and the car in gear it would start moving. I couldn't hardly get it to go in and out of any gears because the clutch simply couldn't move with the spring lodged in there. I tried bleeding the system which didn't work and had to pull everything apart to find this problem.

You said the clutch fluid is to the top? Do you have the black condom looking thing inside your reserviour?
