How much did you pay for the clutch?

The only problem i had at first was it was hard getting it into gear cause of the new slave i had put in it but ii just kept pumping it and driving it and at 29 miles it was like stock again and no engagement issues good luck with the clutch installs!

I talked to someone with heads/cam/spray with close to 700 rwhp on the ls7 clutch and it holds just fine on the street and at the strip on DR's.

What kind of power are you guys making with the LS7 clutch?

I'm hoping to make 550-575rwhp (LS7 buildup) and throw a 100-150hp shot at it. Thinking about a Cartek clutch.

I am making somewhere btwn 400-450rwhp. And i have about 1500 miles on the ls7 clutch, i love it. I dont have a problem using this clutch again and again...if this goes in a few years ill just put another in. Very nice clutch and holds well.

It's a good clutch if all you plan on doing is playing on the street or brief occasional jaunts down the track on DR's.

Don't expect it to hold up to clutch dumps, and you'll never be dissapointed!

Great clutch for thhe street guy with over 400rwhp not interested in drag racing(clutch dump or hard slipping)

T56rebuilds has got it for $600 shipped, and that includes the aluminum flywheel. I am ordering mine next week, along with an 02 slave.

yeah i have been extremely satisfied with my LS7 clutch. holds just as much as the Spec 3 it replaced. and has much better manners. obviously because it's a "stock" clutch!

i'll be headin to a local strip next saturday to give it a whirl....but i don't have DR's so that's not really saying much or "throwing" much at the clutch...but for my car being a street car with some passes here and there...this clutch is great!

To those that have it, was it a plug and play item? No shimming necessary on the FW? Thanks!

yep, "plug and play" for me. threw the Flywheel on, bolted the clutch up and put the trans back in. no shims on the FW or the Slave (like the spec before)

So far we've found the limit at 500rwhp for abuse.Definitely better than a LS6.
