shifter **** install
I got this **** on ebay a while back and I really like it. The problem I am having is that I can not get it to stop were it is facing the right way and even when I just tighten all the way it still works it self loose. I am wondering what I can do to keep it were i want it and have it stay tight but I want to be able to take it off the next time I drop the trans out of my car. Here are some pics of it when I had it on right after I got it.
any input would be helpful

So if I use loc tite will I be able to get it off later if I need to?
as for the shifter boot yeah I ordered it, when I was looking at replacing the old boot. I think it cost like 40 or 50 buck and it is real leather. I really like it cause they made it for the shorter shifter. I got it black becuase i am changing the interior of my car to black so i have the new seat and carpet now and it matches alot better now.

you could always use a nut and screw it on first then screw the **** on then when its facing the way you want you can losen the nut till it james up into the **** and that should work.
