Blown Transmisson?
Blown Transmisson? Ok so the other night me and my friends made a run up to about 150 (I wasn't shifting hard or anything just normal) and afterwards I was locked out of all the gears, so I came to a stop and was then able to get it into gear. But I went to shift into 5th it will go in but as soon as I give it gas it pushes itself out of gear, and it cant be held in, and 6th is basically non existent, when I put it in 6th with the clutch all the way out its like its in nuetral it just revs and nothing hapens. So I drove home in 4th the whole way. And 1st through 4th it feels like somethings hitting them when I shift. So in short I really fubared my tranny so if any of you live in the Central Florida area and know of a good place to have it worked on I would appreciate it.

well you might just need your clutch bled,, that would be great news and you would be lucky.... Hopefullly its not your slider keys , if you broke or bent one its usually the 3 to 4 slider, it could be loose in your tranny and tearing everything up or possibly your syncros...best advice....pull that tranny right away...the longer you wait the more its gonna cost.....you will know its a slider if it gets stuck in gear and when you do finnaly get it out its in some cant find any gear zone ...this happened to me two days ago..im pulling mine this weekend good luck

just got the tranny out wasnt that bad at all, took it off the bellhousing, almost makes me want to open it up and take a look...anyway ill keep you posted man and tell ya what it ended up being/costing
