Or his driving...but that's not for me to say.
No, it's not the trans. The clutch doesn't disengage at high RPM (about 5000 and above, it starts to creep from a dead stop in gear). Everything has been replaced:

two new masters, two new slaves, two different new Spec clutches, a Six Speeds Inc GTO tranny, new shifter, bled regularly, bench bled when the masters were replaced, and the newest master is a RAM adjustable.

The problem is I only found out about the actual disengagement test on this current setup (before the adjustable master), so I don't know if it was doing this before replacing some of the other parts.

That said, the only constant is the Spec clutches, so I'm swapping the current one out for a Textralia, replacing the flywheel and slave (even though the slave has been replaced fairly recently, just to be sure), and replacing the pilot bearing. I just put the RAM master in about two weeks ago, so obviously I'm not replacing that again.

As far as the driving goes, my brother has the same exact car with a different clutch setup and his car shifts like butter. Every person who has ever driven my car has issues shifting, then I found out about the disengagement problem thanks to Amber at Six Speeds Inc who told me how to test for it, and it's obvious that that's the issue. Drill mod has also been done, BTW.

Well be sure to post back if you find a fix. I'm sure there are others wanting to know.

Sure thing. If I actually do get this fixed, I'll be so psyched that I'll probably post a multi-page story about the life of my car since I bought it and all of the stuff I've done to get the damn clutch and shifting issue sorted out.

When I was looking too but my TA last July, I had to have a 6 speed. Would not be HALF as much fun if it was an automatic!! Luv my T56!! Wouldn't trade it for the world!!!!
