Default Clutch Bleeding Made Easier!!!

I am not sure what the rules are about posting information about products that are offered by businesses that are not sponsers to this site. But, I wanted to let you all know that I had a business near me make a brake line that went from the bleeder valve of the slave cylinder to inside the engine compartment, next to the clutch master cylinder.

I know that someone had a thread on here with a similar line, but I didn't know if there was any contact info or price with the thread.

The company that made this for me is called Henry's Engineering. They are located in Barstow, MD (southern MD). The cost of the line and fittings was $35.

I installed the line while I had the transmission out, replacing the clutch. It was VERY nice not to have to crawl under the car and bleed the slave cylinder. Everything was done from up top, with no mess.

Pictures of said extension? That sounds like a good price! Was it a flexible stainless brake line or a hard line? I may be interested but would like to see some pictures.

I just wish I knew the size of the threads for the slave cylinder bleeder screw. I have soooo many pieces of braided line laying around from doing my ARB locker installs in jeeps, that Ide hate to have to buy another one.

But in any case the extended bleeder idea is great. Im hoping it works out as good as it sounds.

I didn't have the forethought to take pictures while the trans was out. However, I have to put it back on the lift to check a few things. I will take some pictures then, and send them out.

The line is a stainless hose, that screws into the same fitting as the bleeder valve.

I knew that I had seen a thread with something like this. Oh well. The one I had made only cost me $35 vs. $75 (plus $4.5 for s&h). Basically the same thing.

Does anybody know for sure the thread in the slave cylinder? It's either 10mm x 1.5 or 3/8"-16. I used taps that I had and both fit, but the 3/8"-16 fit better. Everything else on that motor is metric, so it wouldn't make sense to me that it would be standard.

And, do you have pics of your part or any more details as to what exact parts were used?
