Taking it to the dealer
i did mine in my driveway, so it wouldn't be a problem for a privately owned shop to do it. just find yourself a shop with a good reputation to do it, and they'll put any clutch you want into your car, and they won't charge you near as much labor as the dealership.

its really not that hard... i had never changed a clutch in my car before and now i have done it 3 times..
you will need to get the car up as high as possible for one, 2 you need a good jack to help lower the trans to get it out.. you need a torque wrench to tighten down the bolts on the clutch to the flywheel...
all together.. i had it pulled out.. clutch changed, bled.. and put back together in about 12 hours... i did it all by myself.. i even got the trans back in by myself with an ordinary jack, a flat piece of wood and 2 smaller ones nailed down so the trans wont roll over...my advice.. have a friend help with the intall

I had never done it before, it took me all day with a friend. Now that I have done it a few times, I can do it in half the time. However, if you are set on taking it to the dealer, as everyone else said, get ready to pay outrageous labor costs. FWIW: I checked with a few private shops around town....they all wanted between $650 and $750 to put a clutch in a corvette...once again, an fbody may be different
) total out the door was 561.00 not real bad. Took them 3 days. This other guy I know would have done it for 200.00 but sometimes it takes him longer.
I have helped a friend do his clutch in his lt1, it took about 3 of us. It was a big pain I thought and if I was all alone to do it, I'm pretty sure I would not been able to do it. Everybody does this out in there yard, but dont' be fooled its not like changing the oil. I don't want to discourage anybody from doing there own, but with limited wrench experience I feel like it could be more difficult than most other guys (who are more gearheads) let on this job to be.
