get a line lock and hit the gas. you will get the trick of it. also make sure you have the traction control off.

I just bring it up to about 3k rpm, then quickly 'roll' off the clutch, then quickly switch to the brake. Apply brake as needed to keep you from rolling.

That's how I do it atleast.

put it into second. rev high and let the clutch go quickly and get your clutch foot onto the brake..enough to stop a roll, but not so much that you stop the rear wheels from spinning...let the brake go when you want to start moving foward...and watch the back end trying to swing around on you.

Ok guys, you're gonna have to bear with me here, i'm a total f*ckin idiot when it comes to doing these. I just trying doing a couple before and fucked it up bad. The first time i revved to about 2500, quick let off of the clutch pedal and hit the brake while gassing it. The whole car just jerked when i let off the pedal and i almost stalled. The second time I revved to 2500, slowly let off the clutch pedal while giving more gas until the tires started to spin. Then I quick hit the brake pedal, the engine kept revving but the tires stopped spinning, and I stalled out. How exactly are you supposed to do it and what is this line lock thing? How do you do one without having to buy extra stuff?

line locks are about $115, and they lock your front brake lines so you dont roll forward.

you dont need a lot of break pressure to lock the fronts. heel on brake, toe on gas, left foot on clutch. rev, dump, in one fluid motionswing you right foot so its just on the gas and put your left on the brakes but dont stomp on the brakes.

Slip the clutch more and rev higher as you do. Don't worry about break until you actually need to stop moving forwawrd at .0001 mph. Maybe you guys that need to use the break so quickly have better traction than me. As a matter of fact, I don't use the break at all and can roast them all day long. It's funny, you can even shift gears all the way to 5th.

the line lock is the best thing you can do...
it has a toggle switch so what you do is
depress brakepedal
hit switch
rev to 3500 let the clutch out and you roast the rires til your happy
while roasting flip the toggle again and it releases the front brake and you burn right out of it....

+1 for the line locker. If you aren't good at a burn out chances are you are going to stall the car with excess brake.

rev it high, dump it, nail the brake, and play with the gas

sfcs have nothing to do with teh back end trying to come around. tehy stiffen the car, but will not stop the rear from trying to turn from the twist that the engine produces. a panhard bar, spring..ect will help, but sfcs shouldn't do anything.

I don't knwo why peopel are telling you to slip the clutch either..tahts gonna burn it up bad. You want to let it out, fast. and 2500 rpms isn't gonna do it because your brakes will bog it down. rev high4-5k, let off clutch get clutch foot onto brake enoguh to stop the car moving foward.
