Default Clutch in 3rd gear will grind

If im cruising at say 30 mph and i press in the clutch like i would to shift but go back into 3rd its fine...then if i bring it out and try and go into 3rd it grinds? Why...? With the clutch pressed in it shouldnt grind any gear no matter how many times i go back and forth between the gears correct? To me this sounds like my clutch is not disengaging all the way?...I have a Mcleod ST. Car never grinds going into any gears even under powershifting so i dunno. Used to grind a lot 1st to 2nd when speed shifting but that went away. Also have the reverse gear poping out frequently. Could it just be that the clutch isant engaging/disengaging properly and thats why it does these wack things? Mcleod ST is more trouble then its worth...if you dont need it of course.

Will a bad throwout bearing cause any of this because that thing rattles way too much...

when you let the clutch out while the gear is still locked together with the hub, it wont grind? but if you pull the shifter into neutral and then push it back in it will. You most likely have rounded off engagement teeth on the gear and hub, a bad snychro or a bent shift fork.

Um let me see if i can answer what your asking right.

Clutch out and 3rd gear engaged its fine.

clutch in, pull shifter to neutral and then clutch out then press back in and push back into to 3rd itll go fine...but then while pushing/holding the clutch in and going back and forth from neutral to 3rd it grinds.
