Default Clutch part numbers - which ones?

It's GM part number bingo - here's my confusion:

12562765 2001 Fbody clutch,pplate,fwheel
12570281 Z06 clutch, pplate, flywheel
12570806 '02 Fbody And Corvette Z06 Clutch

12565145 2001 Slave Cyl
15046288 2000 Slave Cyl

So, there are at least 2 part numbers for everything. Or 3. Which is which?

I've heard people talking about the "288" slave, is this the one I want? It does have a higher number, which may (or may not) imply a more recent design.

How about the clutch? 806 is the most recent, so, is that the one to get? Clearly the LS1 clutch is a weak point, so, I really need my dollars (and time) to be spent the right way.

Thanks.

Default Re: Clutch part numbers - which ones?

FYI:
- The slave cylinder 12565145 is for 2001 AND 2002 and we sell it for $82.25

- P/N 12570281 is for stock LS1 ONLY. NOT Z06. It's a stock replacement assembly for 2001-02 F-body and 2001-03 Corvettes and goes for $315.00

- P/N 12570806 is a factory replacement for 2001-03 LS6/Z06 only and we list it for $295.00

Hope this clears everything up for you! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
