Pro 5.0 with about an inch and a half cut off and its the best shifter for an LS1 IMO.

I've had both in my car. I can honestly say that I prefer the pro 5.0 over the B&M any day. I cut about an inch and a half off of it and I absolutely love it.

I have the B&M with a short stick and I like it. Thinking about trying the Pro 5.0 out though since everyone likes them as well.

don't buy the short stick, just cut off an inch off the stick from the 5.0. There are plenty of threads to remove that much. I wasted my money on a short stick and didn't even use it...waste of money.

I actually prefer our WS6store 6" and stock hurst over the B&M. Ive driven a car with the 5.0, and i think it definitly needs a shortened stick.

Pro 5.0 here too, and I cant drive for ****, but I dont miss third!! Mine is really quite and smooth when its warm outside, but if its cold, it does make a little noise, but not alot. Definitely the best choice!

I love my Pro 5.0. I cut off a little over 1 1/4" off of it and I love the way it feels.

Have a ripper and the stick is a little taller than I'd like.

I have a B&M and have never missed a shift. My friend has a pro 5.0 that i will be puting in his, but if its like the one for the five speeds then i think its to short for my taste.

never been a pro 5.0 fan, it's just not comfy for me, I've not put the B&M in my car yet, but I had one in a 3rdgen an absolutely loved it, however I've driven an LS1/T56 f-body with the ripper, and one with the 5.0 and I much preferred the ripper...

imo you can't beat what B&M has done with their shifters, some prefer slightly shorter sticks but some people have slightly shorter arms, or slightly different driving styles... but even right out of the box I think it's perfect for me

I hope that B&M puts more quality into their Fbody shifter than the GTO piece of **** they made. I had tons of problems with it and was actually relieved when it broke in half on me after less than 6 months of use! Unless something drastic changes with their quality control...I will never purchase another B&M product.

I've had both, and a Hurst shifter with WS6 store short stick. All three are far better than stock, but I like the B&M Ripper the best.
