Pro 5.0 shifter stick vs WS6 store short stick
i really dont like the pro 5.0 stick, its pretty long and my boot doesn't even cover the full stick...SO i was thinking about adding the WS6 store short stick, it looks awesome but how is it on the performance side of things? it looks like it would be hard as hell to shift accurate!

My dad just installed my WS6store short stick in my car that has a hurtst shifter and from what he told me it shifts like an entire different car. Ill just have to wait and see when I get back home next month to drive it.

I do not recommend the short stick from WS6store if you have a Pro 5.0. I also have a Pro 5.0 and had to re-use the short stick since I couldn't get the shift **** off. The short stick sometimes rubbed the console in reverse and didn't look or feel right because the Power Tower is offset from the stock shifter. The Pro 5.0 is the best because it is tilted.
Here is what you do... take the Pro 5.0 stick and cut at least and inch off it. Taper then end with a file and voila! That's what I did once I got a new shift ****. Now the stick is at a perfect height where the boot sits exactly at the bottom of the shift ****. All you need is a hacksaw, a fine-toothed blade for it, and a vice.

I have the UMI stick and love it...You definately need an angled stick for the Pro 5.0
In all honesty if you take the pro 5.0 shifter and cut off about 1" you have a "UMI" short stick and it will be perfect. I would have just cut mine but I had already ordered the UMI

I have the Pro 5.0 shifter and while I love the shifter, I thought the stick was to long. So I bought the WS6store.com 6in short stick. I put it on drove it a couple miles and didn't like it. The angle was horrible, it was more to the passenger side, very uncomfortable.
I liked the shortness of the WS6store stick, I even trimmed a tad off. Then put it in a vice and heated and angled the stick to the same degree as the Pro 5.0 stick. Then while it was cooling I sprayed some WD-40 on it which makes it a lot stronger, but really there is no need to do this. Then after it cooled I sprayed galvenize on it. Put it together and it's PERFECT.
By the way, I'm using a C6 **** that I customized myself.
Any questions, just give me a holla.
