Default B&M short stick shift **** removal?

I bought a new Hurst shift **** for my shifter.
However, after I've removed the shifter a couple of times I am unsure of how to get this stupid **** off. The short stick unbolted from the shifter with two bolts (one top one bottom) and the ****, stick, & shift boot all came off together. I'm not even sure how to take the shift boot off. I've tried twisting the ****, but it's so freakin tight that I'm afraid I might have to buy a new short stick for it. Any ideas?

Other than checking for allen screws that are holding it in place, the only other thing you could do is try twisting on it again.

I couldn't notice any screws. Think perhaps it was threadlocked down a lot? Cause I tried twisting it again... not a budge.

Do you notice that line near the bottom, by the boot?? Try twisting that off (use a "jar grip" if necessary). That **** DOES look like one of the ones that are held onto the stick by 3 allen keys. If it is, they are UNDER/covered by that bottom part I'm talking about, which is threaded to the (main) body of the ****.
