input shaft broke
ok this tranny was recently build by a friend of a friend ( i know doesnt sound good right of the bat) well anyways he has rebuild a couple of guys t56 but i bought all new syncroz and goodies and even a new input shaft.. this **** seriously doesnt even have 1K miles on it. anybody ever heard about this happening? the tranny felt good compared to before but **** come on it close me like $500 for the shaft and piece of grad took a **** on the second launch.. just doesnt seem right.. let me know what you guys think. thnx

never seen nor never had it happen either. yeah the output shaft.
and i thought after the money i spend on it, it wouldnt break Fcars actually have a small cross-section spline( I can never remeber if its 27 or 28T). There are other model shafts that significantly beef-up the output. An SSR shaft will most difficult to break( 32 T) and the Fcar trans can be modified to accept it( requires a larger bushing and a yoke change).
