What is wrong with my M6?
I can't tell ya what is wrong but what did you run last night?
I have a 2002 M6 Hot Rod also and I am going to run today(9/14/02) in the brackets at HRP. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

I will tell I just got the car a few weeks ago. Only mods I have is flowmaster catback, MTI lid, and Hypertech 160. My best time last night was a 13.55 at 105.67. 60' was horrible (2.3). It is going to take some practice getting the car out of the hole, and some better tires. Once Im moving I have no problems powershifting through all the gears. Going today to pick up a GMAFS. Every week I will keep adding boltons. Once I get the car running good on motor. Im going to put TNT 150 shot on it.
I do not powershift my Hot Rod and I have over 200 passes on her with no trouble. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Good luck with your Hot Rod and let me know when you head back to the track. <img border="0" alt="[angel]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_angel.gif" />

I had them go over it and replace anything that needed it. The 2nd gear and 1-2 synchro need to be replaced because the synchro mess was a little chewed up. Not terribly bad, but worth replacing while they had the transmission.
I will say that D&D is a first rate shop. They just moved into the new place and I was amazed how clean and organized it was. I had my trans dropped off this last Monday and requested that I can pick it up on Thursday barring any unforseeable issues. They tore it down and gave me a call on Wednesday. Told me what needed to be done and when I showed up on the way home from work Thursday it was there waiting for me.
Absolutely one of the best experiences I've had with getting service work done! When I picked up the trans it was soooo damn clean it looked brand new. When I dropped it off it looked like it had been to a war and back. My dad saw it and thought they gave me a brand new trans! I got it into the car last night and the shifting was a ton better than it was when I picked the car up the first day! Shifting is very firm and solid.
Anyway, just a quick hint on taking the trans out. Just remove the 8 bolts from the trans to the bellhousing. Don't even mess with the bellhousing. That's all they needed.
To give you an idea as to how much stuff was replaced, here are pictures of the parts that came out of the mine. Notice the picture of the shift fork. In one of the photos you'll see a little black piece of plastic. That's the tab that broke, what a POS! The other tab also broke and the trans ate it! Couldn't even find that tab in the fluid.

Anyone that answers the phone will do. I dealt with Steve on the phone and Joe at the shop.
