Exo Skel

People with the Exo Skel, does your clutch make a noise when the clutch pedal is depressed? I am trying to decide if the noise is just the nature of the twin disk clutch or if it is the throw out bearing.

yes you can hear it a little bit, I was wondering what it is too...my guess is its the flywheel turning....i would be concerned as mine makes a lil noise but grabs like a BIOTCH

It is the 2 discs chattering on the middle steel plate

OK thanks, I kinda thought that it is the two disks chattering on the middle plate.

I thought my motor was coming apart when I started mine up for the first time. I have a mccloud bellhousing and the hex bolts on the back of the flywheel were grinding on the front plate. So I had to pull everything back out and grind down the tops of the allen bolts.

That is odd. The tollerances on the midplate against the guide pins have to be loose enough to float freely which causes the rattle. Maybe yours isn't releasing completely or the midplate is binding which neither is good. Rattling is normal on most dual and triple disc clutches.
