I believe if you practice your full lift shifting enough you can be just as fast and in some cases faster then powershifting.
I've done both types of shifting in my other car, not the one in my sig, and my times are faster with normal full lift shifting then powershifting. its all about the timing and smoothness. If its done correctly the RPM will fall exactly where it needs to be for the next gear and you won't loose any momentium.
On my Z06 I can't even powershift it if I wanted to because the clutch has no feel, its like an on/off switch. I'm in the process of correcting that at the moment so hopefully when I get it back on the road my times will be even better.
