Teach me how to speed shift.....
Sometimes the car just acts like it doesnt want to go in gear if I stay floored and hit the clutch to grab the next gear. When I let off the throttle it slides in fine. What am I not doing correctly. Its a hit or miss deal I think its more me than anything. Thanks.

Drill mod FTW... Or driver mod..
Powershifting is shifting w/ the throttle pegged. When I did it my first time, I unleashed a WHOLE NEW attitude of that car that I have NEVER experienced. !!! I was NOT expecting that car to pull THAT HARD!!! WOW!! Prolly not friendly on stock 10b, but I KNOW my trans can take it! Thanks T56Rebuilds!!!..
Speed shifting takes experience. Clutch, shift and clutch really fast. Or slide it out while the clutch is on it's way down. By the time it's in gear, you just snap the clutch back up.

find an open road and take off as fast as your tires will let you without spinning. Never let off the throttle and try not to hit the rev limiter between shifts. This is hard without a good clutch and tranny so if your on 100k miles and stock clutch n trans i wouldnt be doing this...although i have done it to my Ls1's haha. Gotta love chirping 4th on dry pavement speed shifting

A rev limiter will not save a motor from a missed shift. Making a 2-1 instead of a 2-3 and actually letting out the clutch can take out an engine in one stab.It can also explode a disc.

Or going to hit 4th but missing, it bent 2 pushrods at 90 degrees for me, mechanical over rev because I had my foot in it.
