Just replaced fluid in M6 now its notchy

serach forums.. not shure. i usually pull the filler plug on side of transmisison and pump fluid into it untill it starts to seep from the filler hole. then put the plug back in.

I used the royal purple in mine and it was 10X better shifting comfort wise. WE also did a z06 the same day and it worked fine.

This is what we are going to do but I just wanted to see if anybody knew how many quarts it took so we can buy that many.

GM Synchromesh from the dealer, PN - 12345349

4 quarts, just drain it and refill it.

There is a counter shaft and a main shaft with gears on it. The rotation of the gears are what circulate the fluid. No bleeding required on manual transmissions.
