Default ls7 clutch install

ive had alot of trouble with my trans/clutch so i am redoing everything!

already have done all hydraulics

starting on my trans/ clutch swap today.

what i am doing so far.....

ls7 clutch ls2 flywheel
pilot bearing
rebuilt t-56

is there anything else i should do?

and do you need to shim the clutch...reason i ask is i have a spec now and i didnt shim it and i didnt like it.

Sounds good, where are you getting the t56 done at? And you will not need a shim for the clutch.

a mechanic at a chevy dealership does them for me for 100 labor plus parts.....once i get one built up tho im sending it to t56 rebuilds

I had to shim mine .080 and so have most people that have used the LS2 flywheel and LS7 clutch disc

don't shim it, it's pretty much a stock replacement.
