Guys who have converted-------->M6 to Automatic
Approximately what did it cost you to convert from your M6 to a TH350 or 400. I'm talking about soup to nuts- tranny, converter, driveshaft, crossmember, labor, etc, etc. Please exclude overdrive, t-brake, I won't be doing those. Please list all info.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Did mine when it was relatively new thing, but now it's more common.
- Good tranny ~ $500 to $1500 (either Th350, TH400, or PG) try sponsors or other (email me)
- Good converter ~ $400 to $1000 (depends on what you want)
- Shifter ~ $150 to $200 (depends on what you want)
- Driveshaft ~ $125 - $700 (depends on what you want)
There are numerous options available. Just depends on what the end use is for the car. I would plan on at least $2000 - $3000 for a swap.

These are the prices I paid when I did my swap.
Tranny: $1500 from a local guy. This price is with transbrake, and a 2.75 first gear (480 extra for the gear)
Converter: $460 JW 10" 4500 stall converter
Tranny cooler, lines, fittings, and dipstick: $260 all from jegs
Shifter: $200 B&M Hammer shifter
Crossmember: Brett at BMR built the crossmember for me. My car was basically the prototype so I got it for $50 but he sells them now for $150
Driveshaft I got from a friend who had a TH400/9" in his car so I got it for cheap. I'm buying a Dennys soon they run around $360 I think.
Nothing needs to be done with the PCM you will get an SES light from the cags not being hooked up. Also my speedo doesn't work. You can get the speedo kit from yank but It's around $200 and I am fine with not having a speedo. I just gauge my speed from my RPM and surrounding traffic.
LAbor was free as I installed it all myself. It's really easy nothing hard about it at all. Hardest part is getting the shifter mounted in the car.
