Question Whos running stock clutch with high HP

I'm just wondering, who here is running 400hp+ and running stock clutch??? Beucase im about to get a major upgrade which Camaro Z28 2000 and the upgrades are goign to be (be done by synergy)
-Borla exhuast(just installed it. . just the muffler)
-ARHwith catted Y-pipe
-Heads (AFR) and Cam (228/228)
-LSX Manifold 90mm/ and NW TB 90mm
-35-40lb fuel injectors
-Tunning by synergy
-Hotchkis springs (replacing my sportsline springs)

I'm thinking if i should run my stock clutch or move up to an aftermarket. . think i would be fine with the stock clutch i have ??? or would i rather change it now ??

I think a lot of it depends on how you drive the car.

That dictates how long the stock clutch will last with mods. If you beat the hell out of it, its obviously not going to last nearly as long.

I don't quite have 400 rwhp but with my setup the stock clutch didn't last to long.
My car is a pure street driven car with not even drag radials.
I have the ls6 clutch now with about 20xxx miles still holding fine.
And as already said i matters alot on how you drive your car.

If you start tracking it much or doing slipping to get best 60fts no it won't last long. If you mostly dump it and take the resultant bog or big spin it might last a bit longer. You will usually start smelling it burn and it will start to slip. then maybe come back a bit and then it will get worse and worse. My stocker lasted not very long once started to add mods but a few buddies have managed to keep their alive.
Slipping on the launch will destroy the stock clutch fast at big power.

Stock clutch here.
Power as in the sig (that was with a A4 tranny).
The clutch is still fine, but I don't race, this is a DD.

made it 1 pass on a 6k dump with 410HP/380TQ on ET Streets. 1.58 60' and it was shot after that. well it was slipping a little before that and you could tell it on the dyno sheet but on the cheater slicks, it wasn't goin to last.
