Textralia Carbon Kevlar

Textralia Carbon Kevlar
Just wanted to post this I have a 05 APS TT GTO and have had the Textralia Exsokel in it for about 8000 miles. I have been very happy with the clutch but the skreeching it makes now and then along with some slight chatter sometimes can be annoying but there is no disputing how well the clutch holds the power.
I had a mishap with my fuel pump wiring and ended up breaking a piston so when I pulled the engine and took the clutch apart I was amazed at how well the clutch still looked. There was hardly any wear and only a few hot spots on the PPlate and flywheel but all in alll everything looked normal. For the record my car made 712 and 770tq on a 3750lb car that makes the clutch work overtime.
I sent pics of the clutch to Textralia for review and told them I really liked the clutch but since its my daily driver the skrecching and slight chatter sometimes gets a little frustrating. Well Pete hooked me up with there new carbon kevlar discs and all I have to say is the clutch drives absolutely like stock now no noise no chatter and buttery smooth shifts. I believe the power rating has gone down a bit with these units but unless you are launching on a 2 step at 5000rpm I am sure this clutch will take quite a bit of abuse just not as much as the sintered metal discs but a lot none the less.
