Default Ram Clutch and fidanza flywheel question

Alrighty I am installng a ram hd cluthc part number 98931 and a fidanza aluminum flywheel. The problem I am having is the pressure plate is not bolting to the flywheel because of two studs out of the flywheel. The factory setup is the same but the ram plate is not set up for it, Any suggestions ?

The two studs you are referring to are alignment dowels. They are there to ensure that the pressure plate is aligned perfectly to the flywheel. I have not handled too many Ram clutches... but I have not ever seen a pressure plate that does not have those dowel alignmet holes.

You might call Ram Monday and inquire about this. I just cannot understand that part not having those holes... but hey I learn new stuff often too!

Yeah it just has the bolt holes to bolt the pressure plate down but the ram plate does not have a provision for them.

I just popped the dowels out. I guess we will see how that does.

Thats what i did when i had my ram/Fidanza setup. I didnt care for the flywheel because the insert warped on me. Was a good setup while it lasted. they say the tolerance in the bolt holes is close enough that you dont need the dowels.
