You are going to have to remove the panel under the steering wheel to get to it...Its the one with the trunk release button on it...And the other one right below that...I can't remember if you have to take off one to get to the other...
After a brief search once the panel is off you should see the spring...You should use some grease and not wd-40 since the wd won't last that long...Hope this helps...
