Default stock LS-1 flywheel question

I am new to manual transmissions. I came across this flywheel from someone recently and just wanted to make sure it is good. It has a spot that appears to have been drilled, and another that appears to have been grinded. Will this hurt? I probably need to check balance anyway right? This was presented to me as a LS6 flywheel, it has 1255 4130 N casting. I found a site that says a stock LS-1 flywheel weighs 20.36 lbs. This one weighs 24.5 lbs. I just want to make sure what I have, I only want to put it in once. PICS HEREweb page
