Spec carbon fiber clutch and aluminum flywheel glazed with 100 miles??
I recently purchased a stage 3 carbon clutch and fidenza aluminum flywheel used. Previous owner said that it had 100 miles and that i'd have to finish breaking it in. I took it to my performance shop and they said that it had a few small glazed spots on the flywheel and on the pressure plate. Should i worry about this or should i get these resurfaced? If resurfaced is the way to go, then where and how much to get that done? All replies are greatly appreciated.
thanks,
Al

I woule get the flywheel done but I'm not sure about doing the pressure plate. The Spec carbon fiber clutch plate is not that great - you really want the ceramic Stage III <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

If it really is a fidanxa then call them, not only do they offer a lifetime warranty, but you can have the frixtion surface replaced. That is a better way to go then to have it resurfaced that way it is like new. So call fidanza.
