Default T56 Rebuild, Synchro Still grinds

I just rebuilt my 00 T56 and replaced 1-2 and 3-4 assemblies. I also replaced all blocker rings. All of my gears work, but Third gear will grind if I try to downshift at 70mph and also all my shifts seem hard/firm. From reading troubleshooting I think it might be a misaligned bellhousing or a messed up case. The T56 manual isnt too helpful in aligning the bellhousing. Does anyone have any insight as to how I can check this.

I am thinking of back the transmission off of the bellhousing and realigning it. Is there a procedure I should try.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I dont want to burn up this transmission.

I blew the syncro's with synthetic.Don't know for sure if that was the problem. Now I run Castrol and the tranny shifts better.
I'm thinking synthetic can be too slippery for the syncro's to mesh correctly <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Synchros need the friction of Fossil oils to work properly.

Well dammit. Thats a waste of synthetic oil.
25 dollars down the drain. SO whats a good natural oil or could it possible to add something to my synthetic so as not to waste it.

Thanks

Check to see if your clutch is disengaging by putting your car on a flat surface in neutral with the pedal out.

Now push down the pedal and stick it in first, if the car moves forward any while putting the transmission in gear, then the clutch is not fully disengaging.

Hope this helps some.
