I had a spec stage 1 clutch and spec flywheel put in my 2000 z28 a few weeks ago. I was told to break the clutch in about 500 miles so i did so. The clutch now has 900 miles on it and it still chatters. Around 500 miles it didnt chatter and then all of the sudden it chatters. Now there are days it doesnt chatter that bad then days that it does. After i hit the 500 mile break in period anytime i would go hard on the car after i come to a stop the chatter would be REALLY bad. My friend installed the clutch with my help and i dont think we did anything wrong. Do you guys have any ideas or is the spec clutch crap? i should have gotten a centerforce...

I went through 3 spec clutch's..... I've installed a McLeod since and had no problems .
