Well I dont know all the details in the conversion, but i do know u can save urself over $1k if you just take the tranny out and reinstall it urself. I dont know how much time and determination you have but me and a friend took my t-56 out about an hour, but we had a lift and all air tools. You can get it out with jack stands and if you have the right tools and a friend to help? Most tranny shops will charge a minimum of $500 to tear it out unless u have friend or "know people" at shop.
