Default T56 STRONG BURNT BRAKE SMELL?

This past saturday was my first time running my car @ the tracks. My third qualifying run, I launched @ about 4200 rpm w/ bfg dr's when i shifted to second the car kindah jus sat in one place- so i shifted it into third and it still sat in one place then i put it into neutral then to 3rd then it took off! on the return lane there was a stink smell so i was thinking if my clutch spun! instead of my tires. i could smell that burnt brake smell like after 2 hours past. SO did i damaged the clutch? this happen to anybody b4? do i have to repair anything? jus kindah worried! i ran the car again after that and it ran fine but i dint launch to high! my friend told me that my tires had to much bite he told me to up my psi to 23 from 15! the car ran best 13.2 @ 107 mph.

Yep, that's a burnt clutch. It'll be ok for a while, but unless you like slow timeslips, upgrade to something good.

The stock clutch can't take much abuse and when it starts to slip off the line it will slip the whole run.
The trick is not to heat the clutch at all.For the burnout hit the water box and get a little water on the tires, move up,start your burnout by side stepping the clutch to keep it from slipping(building heat)Then it should hold at the line.
