i have driven a few cars with the dual and LOVED them drive very nicely and both cars have had great success with them and lots of abuse track and DD . i beat my stg 3 for 35k miles beat my stg 5 for 12-15k ish and alot of passes . as much as the dual is im getting one in the spring and ill be happy for atleast 2 more years

I have a quik question now that we are talking spec dual. Which would last longer a spec stage 5 or their dual? I am just trying to decide my next clutch. Would the theory be true that the dual would last longer since their are two discs to wear out rather than one? Thanks!!!

52172, It is actually a matter of material. The stage 5 disc is sintered iron. Contrary to popular beleif this material is actually very soft. This allows for the amazing bite that stage 5 is known for but it also leads to a quicker wear rate than other harder materials. With this in mind a Super-Twin with either the Kevlar, Hybrid, Carbon-Graphite puck, or CSM full-faced disc would have a longer life expectancy. Of course, life is greatly affected by driving style so this too can be relative. I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks!

Might be changing out my clutch not sure yet. My power goals are 850rwhp with my twins and maybe 1000rwhp max occasionally with some spray. Car is street car not track car. Want as much driveability as possible ability to do heavy traffic. Also do your twins have the strapping or whatever to elminate the rattling my tex makes when push the pedal in?
So what is power handling of each of your above setups. So your twins also work with stock masters and slaves and no shimming ?
