After reading all that I still don't know what I want. I was talking with the guys at Spec and they said that a AL flywheel would help soften the hit out of the hole just like you said Alchemist. I was just talking with my wife who is trying to help me deside and I said you would spend more time with the motor turning up than launching it so I would think for racing the AL would be better? So the benefit of the better launch is negated in part by the quicker revs of the lighter flywheel. Is my logic correct?

I got 40k miles out of a spec 4 with AL flywheel, so that takes care of the durability argument.

I've loved my lightweight clutch ever since I got it, even with the stock 3.42s. I'm sure it'll be even better with the 4.11s...it was honestly the biggest SOTP gain I've had from my car (the engine is still internally stock though).
