I ran an LS7 clutch in my 346 (460RWHP) C5 and loved it. I run a Cartek adjustable master and set the engagement exactly where I wanted it. It felt like stock but held that HP level fine. I went with a RAM Dual Disc in the 403 (510/470) and it's a great clutch but I'm getting tired of the rattle. I don't track my car but do enjoy "spirited driving".

I think that if your not gonna go or seldomly go to the track then go with the LS7 clutch. Its a great for the money. If you are gonna be going to the track and doing high RPM launches on a sticky tire then go with the Ram Level 3 powergrip clutch. Heres pics showing the stock 01 clutch next to the Ram.

call those guys up and they can set you up with what you need there very good over there. They can tell you wether or not to use an adjustable master or not with it. I dont think you need to im pretty sure you can use a OEM one but its best to call them and ask.

I'm not trying to hijack but I will be needing a clutch soon. The ls7 is looking like the choice. I did want a lighter flywheel though such as the RAM billet steel at 18lbs. How much does the ls2 or ls7 flywheel weigh? Definitely do not want aluminum.
