Default Slip or Dump, which one is it?

Okay guys, want an idea of who either slips or dumps there clutch at the strip?

Also post the 60ft?

If you dont mind, I personally think it would be interesting to see.

I'm in the same boat as you with the stock 10 bolt. The spec 3 doesn't like to be slipped to much, but it has no choice. My 60ft prior to the spec 3 was a 1.98 on the stocker slipping the clutch. Haven't gotten to the track with the new clutch yet.

Just wondering, I don't know much about the Spec 3 clutch, but besides handling more power how is it different driving it than a stocker?

Oh, and my vote is for dumping. Slipping is probably better, but I've always been a dumper myself, lol

I voted slip as I'm on a 10 bolt as well. As for the spec 3, It's... stiff... But really not that bad. I'll put it like this, If I lived in downtown Atlanta I would not be running this clutch.

Nice bro. I think my best 60 when I had bolt-ons was a 1.92, not impressive I know, but impressive from my point of view.

I have a SPEC 3+, that likes to be slipped.

Is a 2 step really worth it, I've always pondered the idea of one? The proof is there in your statement yes, but what were your times before you were using a 2 step.

It really depends on what power is made, the suspension, and whether you have a 12 bolt or not.

Honestly, NOTHING kills a clutch quicker then a slip AND slipping just saves the rear from blowing up quicker, or mask a car with poor traction and/or suspension

I'm dumping ~4500 RPM on DRs and a 10-bolt. Only a best of a 1.88 60' so far, but that's all the stock clutch would take. With a new clutch, I may change my approach.
