what is a good new transmission i can put in my 2001 z28

what is a upgrade transmission i can put in my car without having to change anything else

t-56 should work fine for pretty much everything.

have six speeds inc rebuild it for you if you having problems or something.

Yeah a stock T56 thats been updated with the newer stuff is plenty as long as you have a good working clutch in front of it .

Give Six Speeds Inc a call and tell them your situation. They have various levels of transmissions depending on your setup, but you won't go wrong. You can send them your current trans and have them rebuild, or get a whole new one and they'll pay you a core charge for the current core.

The MN12 (GTO Trans) is a good upgrade if you're looking to get a little extra gearing out of the setup. They have shorter first, second, third, fifth, and sixth gears, and also have triple cone blocker rings as opposed to the double in an Fbody T56. The ones from Six Speeds Inc are rated to 700rwhp/700rwtq. Give Amber a call.
