Default I think I figured out the problem. What do you guys think?

I've been having problems shifting my car quick. The problem has been getting worse. When I'm at high RPMs shifting through the gears, it feels like there is a wall between the gears. It used to just flick between gears very quickly. Now there is a delay. When I had the tranny out to fix the fork, I put in a new LS7 clutch. I didn't replace the slave, throwout bearing, or pilot bearing. That was about two years ago. I tried replacing the clutch master cylinder. No change, so I resigned myself to pulling the tranny. I thought maybe something was wrong with the clutch system. When I was pulling the tranny out, needle bearings started to drop out. The pilot bearing is bad.

So my question is. I know that it is bad to have a junk pilot bearing, but is it enough to give me the problems I'm having shifting?

Not sure if its the "only problem"...But one thing for sure...replace the slave not just the bearing.

Yeah, I'll do it right this time. All new parts.

Bleed Your Hydros Completely, Get A New Slave ($100 From Sdpc)
Wrap The Line With Exhaust Tape And Do The Drill Mod. If It Feels Like A Wall Then It Is Probably Not Gonna Be The Pilot That Is Causing The Issue, Just Coincidence Imo

If you destroyed the pilot bearing, make sure you did not damage the tranny input shaft. If not, then get a BUSHING!

All that stuff was done before I installed the LS7 clutch a couple of years ago.
