Grease for bronze bushing?

Default Grease for bronze bushing?
About to put a new bushing in to replace the pilot bearing. Should I be putting grease on the input shaft when I put it all back together? If so, what kind? Please don't say white lithium, where do you buy that stuff? I've been all over town (Vegas) and I can never find it. The people at autozone look at me like I'm retarded when I say white lithium, lol.

any high temp brake/bearing grease should work. dam that quote is funny LOL

lol just read the complete post! umm maybe give the valvoline full synthetic grease a try, any high temp grease, any thing but the regular!

I think it should be oil and not grease...

Actually you are suppose to install them dry . Most bushings have graphite inbedded in them and will sweat when they get hot .

The GM pilot bearing is packed from factory with grease, we still put a lil grease on the input shaft, no issues.

Yeah you talking about the roller bearing not a bronze bushing .
