Go with the one you feel most comfortable with. All quality shifters are going to do pretty much the same thing. The only reason I buy an aftermarket shifter is for the centering springs for the 2-3 shift and for the extra security of the stops. I currently run a Hurst Billet Plus in my 99 and love it. I have owned a Hurst and a Pro 5.0 in my older Fox bodies. I have owned a Steeda Tri-ax and a MGW in my Mach1 and 03 Cobra and they all felt pretty much the same way to me. Remember it's the person shifting the car that makes the difference, the shifter itself is just a tool to get the job done right!

Well I had the hurst Billet in my old 97 formula and loved it with the stock hurst stick. But always thought it was a tad long but over all very nice.
Yesterday I put in a Pro 5.0 with the speed inc short stick with the bend in my new 96 formula WS6.
Never Liked the B&Ms my buddies ran so I never bought one.
Both the Hurst Billet and the Pro 5.0 are very nice and you cant go wrong. Just get wich ever you think looks better.
Now Short or long stick is another disscusion.
