Default Textralia Clutch Question

Ive seen a few people talking about these clutches and was just wondering who would recomend them, what is thier benefit over an LS7 kit, I am planning on changing the clutch soon I have a spec stage 1 and am not happy with it . Anyway any thoughts on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

Note: I plan on camming the car, I have already talked to MTI about an R1 cam @112, I have all the parts to get it done, so I dont need a cluch to hold 1000hp just about 400(I hope), so should I go w/ LS7 or look at Textralia?

Thanks for reading.

Its a clutch thats designed to be exactly like stock as far as engagement and peddal feel and truely can handle constant clutch dumps and handle up to 700 hp with ease.

LS7's are cheaper and can handle decent power but cannot take the beating at the track and even z06 owners have blown through them with any amount of hard driving.

Just from personal exp, Mine had a minor chatter for the 1st 50 miles and that was me just getting used to it. With in 100 it was gone completely and that was the Z grip which has no organic friction to the disk which should be "chattier" then the X grip.

The Tex is definitely a more track friendly clutch, especially if you plan on launching the car hard, and especially if you go with the Z-grip. The X-grip is a slightly more street friendly clutch that can handle the same power but doesn't mind being slipped a little bit. The Z-grip is designed more for FI/N2O cars and hard launched cars.
